A Toy Theater of Mine - Alice in Wonderland

A Toy Theater of Mine

§  Alice in Wonderland  §

through the looking glass

Inspired by the toy theater originated in the British old days, I have made one of mine too. I love it indeed..... though this little toy theater is definitely not comparable to those classic ones now being sold in the Benjamin Pollock's Toy Shop at Covent Garden, London.

Mine is featuring Alice in Wonderland - through the looking glass =)
As this is only my first attempt, I already identified a no. of improvements right away but it is too late to make those changes now.

No worry, I am going to make a new one soon again... that is for a better stage performance.

Using TJ Design rubber stamp collection for Alice in Wonderland series, I was able to capture the good details of every characters. With your fingertips, you can move the characters along the stage to accommodate different scenes of the story. I just find this really fun. And it's just too crazy!

Watch out the Cheshire Cat and his big grin!
Enjoy!

A baby scrapbook for a good friend of mine. Congratulations!

Congratulation!!

This is a month of celebration... in which my best friend's baby girl was born...
Her name is Yau Yau. =)

Once I got to know that it is 'she'... I started planning the album structure and layouts. It didn't take long to complete the book cover as I already identified one flocked pinkish paper for it. With a tiny ribbon bow at the center, it is as grand as what I expected.

For my friend to capture every precious moments Yau Yau is growing, I have prepared twelve- two full pages, one for each month until she is 1 year-old. I know she is probably either too busy or not familiar with scrapbooking... hahah.. I better have made some photo slots on the pages...so that she could easily put on a 4R-sized photo without the trouble of using glue or sticker.  Yet, I still reserve empty spaces on my layout designs for her to put as many pictures as she wants.

Thanks for the slice die-cutting machine that helps me to cut out quickly and beautifully the 'Number' to mark for each month.
This is the baby scrapbook and its book box for Yau Yau. Enjoy!
