Tailor Made Wedding Guest Book

Wedding Guest Book
Purple is always one of the favorite colors for a wedding occasion.
But this time, the design job is no easy to be done.
What I was told is to keep the design very very very simple and clean. Even the use of purple color had to be very disciplined on the design as well!!!
Without much details that I could add on the guest book cover, I was thinking how to blend the purple color into the white cover while you would still consider it as a CLEAN DESIGN ?! This has always been a question in my mind from the first day I got this job.

For a few days, I couldn't get any good ideas in my dreams...though I thought I would be using some kinds of 2" wide satin pale purple ribbon. Sounds frustrating!
My head got stuck in there... and suddenly, I believe it's time to do something totally different...i.e. give up what I have been thinking and start all over again!
USE very thin ribbons instead. Yes, why not?!
So to make it as part of the book cover. Design details then come from the silvery white blossom trim made by Martha Stewart punch and tiny little pearl drops.

So this is how the guest book is done. The client love it. And what makes me so excited is that, the groom-to-be quite likes the design as well. What a coincidence, he mentioned that this design quite matches with their banquet backdrop too!
Feel so great! Mission completed!
