§ Wedding Reception Frame §
Client is looking for something pink, purple and white. This time, I had been struggling for two days on the kinds of papers that should be used for this reception frame ^^!.
With some new sample papers received, I just couldn't stop myself to pick few of those papers for this new project. Cos I really love their mix of patterns and colors that represents a very classic and elegant style of finish.
Yet, I was not so sure if she would prefer a more pinkish or colorful design in comparison. This was my biggest worry at that time. After all, I decided to stick to my original design... a more creamy, classic and elegant one with some little pink and purple blossoms. And the most important of all, I also included a bird couple on the frame and used a slightly goldish paper for their name plate.
Very clean and neat design indeed! I love it.
I also struggled before if I should use a transparency for their name plate as I was thinking to show the background paper more on the design. But it seems to me that the solid goldish paper gives a better contrast and highlight to their names and wedding date. What do you think? =)
P.S. She sent me email later that evening to let me know her fiance loves the design as well. Really thankful for their appreciation and kindness to let me know how they think. I believe every designer would love to know if their design can be well received by the clients. Thank you.
