我們沒有躲懶，只是最近一直忙著新舖的事宜，才沒法子準時完成。希望大家仍期待我們這個工具巡禮(四)吧!

今次的工具巡禮所介紹的是由 Making Memories 設計的 slot punching tool。

它的最大好處就是可以做出漂亮而且整齊的長條型狹縫。先揀選心愛的 scrapbook 紙張，然後用這個 slot punch 在紙上做出數十個 slots ，跟著便可把絲帶或其他花紋紙張編織在紙張上，做出一系列簡潔而清新的效果。

想簡單一點或想套用在一些賀卡請帖上，都可用這個 slot punching tool 打上兩個長條型 slots 。跟著把絲帶的一端由左 slot 入右slot出的方法穿上。另一端的，便相反地由右 slot 入左slot出穿上。這樣便可做出一個不需打結但十分漂亮的蝴蝶結了。

這套 slot punching tool set 附上三種不同大小的 slot punch 頭，以配合不同闊度的絲帶。

此外，它還有一個放相用的開相角頭。市面一般的開相角器都局限於其機身設計，所以只可在某些位置(i.e. 基本上只得紙張的四角) 打上相角。但是這個 Making Memories 開相角頭，可以說是在紙張任何一處都用得上，十分方便。從此，你喜歡在 scrapbook page 那兒放上照片都可以做得到。

Designed by Making Memories, this slot punching tool was great to make ribbon and paper weaving easy, consistent and simple!

First, choose a piece of your favourite scrapbook paper and continuously make a row of slots along one border of the page. Now, pick a spool of nice ribbon. Make sure the ribbon you picked is of the right width of the slots that you have just made on the page. You can now start weaving your choice of ribbons along the page to produce a simple but elegant outlook!

Other than the above, you may wish to make your own gift box or greeting card for an important day. The slot punching tool is definitely a simple tool for you to tie a nice ribbon bow on your project in a second. Quick, easy but elegant!

The slot punching tool set provided by the Making Memories includes a photo-corner slot head. Unlike the common photo-corner slot machine you found in the market that can only make a slot at the corners of a paper, this Making Memories' photo-corner slot head can make a slot anywhere on your scrapbook page. This is good as you can now place your photo (without damaging the photos by the double-sided tapes) anywhere on your scrapbook page, not only close to the corners or edges of your page.
